In the newly developed neighbourhood of Carlsberg byen there is an immense gourmet experience tucked away in the sleek architectural buildings where Restaurant Studio focuses on an exquisite Asian fusion cuisine experience.
AtmDesign wanted to create a cosy, elegant and sophisticated atmosphere that compliments the supreme dishes that the talented kitchen concoct. They worked on using contrasting soft and cool materials in combination with a main feature that was to use mirror finishes in different way to trick the eye and open up the space.
The end wall is striking flowing artwork by Frederik Hesseldahl splayed across a full scale mirror that is a reference to the water fountain just outside the restaurants windows.
Adding to the allure of the space, the stunning dark wooden floors from Junckers exude warmth and sophistication, creating a refined backdrop that elevates the overall dining experience.
The open kitchen plan gives the guest full view of the chefs at work while taking in the ambience of the room. We wanted a subdued light and choose oversize canvas light fixtures in a Japandi style that tie together with the classic smoked oak timber and handmade Japanese tiles used throughout the space.
